There is a strong sensation that like Foucault pointed out concerning the medical profession’s masonic language, today the science and practice of information management (web, communication, etc.) are in the hands of a few enlightened oligarchs. This is the forst post of a series of analysis commenting not on pseudo-conspiracies but on actual facts of every day life to discover who may be the future oligarcs and if they will bring benefits or misery to humans. We’ll use Russia’s recent history as a social, political and economical model to benchmark theories of future oligarchism.
